There aren't many Atlanta rappers touching Sy Ari Da Kid when it comes to lyrical ability and storytelling. That prowess is on full display in his latest work It Was Unwritten.
The veteran rapper and producer described this album as his "life story," detailing everything from his childhood, his many accomplishments in the industry, and his experience raising a child as a single father.
Sy got his start fresh out of high school when he became known for winning several battle rap contests on Hot 107.9. Now, nearly 15 years later he has dropped his 20th project, and is reminding us all of the origins of hip-hop.
It Was Unwritten is stacked with lyrical talent, boasting features form Big K.R.I.T., Quentin Miller, and Cyhi The Prynce just to name a few.
The album is streaming everywhere now.
