Guwop Reign is no doubt one of the hardest teenage spitters on the Atlanta music scene right now. The 17-year-old, who is originally from Boston, just dropped off his second single of 2021, Super Pain.
Fresh off a feature on Lil Tecca's, True to the Game, Guwop Reign proves with Super Pain that he's also capable of producing a melodic hit. Despite the pandemic, he's been consistent over the past year, and each single seems to be better than the last. As he continues to perfect his craft, there's no doubt in my mind that he won't be spending too much more time under the radar.
His most recent single is a nice example of the quality Guwop delivers each release. The teenager pours his heart into this song, proving that not only can he make a record for the club, but he can rap about pain and heartbreak as well. That said, I'm already patiently awaiting his next release.
Anticipation for his first full-length project is also building in the comment sections of his social media.
