2020 Congressional candidate Kwanza Hall has released an open letter to his opponent, Dr. Robert Franklin, urging him to drop out of their Dec. 1st run-off to fill John Lewis' seat.
Hall came in first place in the September special election leading Franklin by 1,300 votes. The two are fighting to fill the remaining 10 weeks of Lewis' term.
In his letter, Hall argues that it's imperative to fill the 5th District seat now so that the district has a vote on critical upcoming legislation, such as the John Lewis Voting Rights Act, the George Floyd Justice Reform Act, and the $1.8 Trillion Cares Act.
